Anthoula's Traditional Food

Very impromptu visit here, despite the fact they were absolutely fully booked, they managed to fit me and my partner in on their beautiful balcony. Had the Feta and Saganaki with tomatoes and peppers to start (preferred the tomatoes and peppers with the feta, unbelievable combination!) Was a delightful and plentiful starter. We both had the same main Soutzoukakia and lemon potatoes. Again, it is an unbelievable combination. Plenty of seating outside under a beautiful big tree and some inside / 2 tables on the little balcony. Book if you want a table, as they were flat out for the 2 hours we were there. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Would 100% revisit!

This might have been the best experience in Halkidiki so far. The food is to die for. It is tasty traditional greek food, and this was exactly what I was looking for in my travels. A culinary experience. The waiters were very nice and polite. They also brought appetizers while we waited for the food: tzatziki and fish roe which I recommend. The taste is something else. Great moussaka as well and a lovely atmosphere by the tree. The owners did a very good job. We had a lovely time ❤️

The best restaurant in the area!!! Perfect for people with Celiac disease as it has a long list of Gluten Free dishes. It is located at a lovely square in the upper part of Kruopigi village. The food is truly home made and the taste is superb. The service was amazing, from all the family generations We ate there twice since it was so great. The best dishes were Tzatziki, Stuffed peppers, Dolmates, chicken fillet, and the sausages. It is a must visit in Chalkidiki and strongly recommended, the whole experience is perfect especially the fact that this amazing food can be served Gluten free.

Hidden gem at the center of the first leg of Chalkidiki. It is located at a square in the upper part of Kruopigi village. The food was excellent, especially the papardelle and the tagliatta. The service was amazing, we felt that we were part of the family that runs the restaurant. The wine list was very well organized, they even offer assyrtiko from Santorini ( Argyros estate). It is a must visit in Chalkidiki and strongly recommended, the whole experience is totally worth it! Excellent!

If you only have a day in Kassandra Peninsula, then don't miss the experience of Athoulas goodies. A great atmosphere in a small square with a huge plane tree and the tables all in its shade. The service is quick and effective, they can even help you with your order. We had Anthoula herself take our order and she was giving us tips about the different plates of the day. The food was really good. We ordered the lamb in the over with rise, the pork chops, the Dakos Salat, tsantziki, the minced-meat pie, saganaki cheese. Everything was really very very tasty. I would highly recommend this place for Greeks or tourists in the area. Its not a tourist trap and the Greek food here is really as you could try it in a Greek home where a Greek mum has cooked. Excellent food. We tried a plate of almost everything, from stuffed grape leaves to Calamari. Even tried a steak. Typically since I'm from the USA-New York, I haven't found great steak in Europe. I must say I was VERY impressed with the steak, it was outstanding! The owners are amazing and even offered to get us some special plates and cook it if we came again and gave them notice. Definitely recommend going, don't miss this place!
